"Radon map by address" has about 320 searches per month, difficulty 20. The site ranks around 33rd place. An address, postal code, or a Quebec map shows a regional trend. They do not measure the air in your basement.
Why Two Houses on the Same Street Differ
Radon enters through contact with the ground. The slab, cracks, sump pit, heating, and the occupied floor affect the level. A neighbor can be below 200 Bq/m³ while you are above, or vice versa.
What Replaces the Map
A dosimeter in the lowest living area. The 4-day test detects radon. The 91-day test monitors normal living conditions. Total shown on both pages: $74.72 taxes included (detector $39.99 + return and lab $25 + taxes).
If the result exceeds 200 Bq/m³, the standard installation costs $2,799.99 + taxes. The price is confirmed before work begins, on the attenuation page.
