For testing or installation in Quebec:
- Radon test in Quebec (4 days or 91 days)
- Best radon detector

“Home Depot radon detector” has about 110 searches per month, difficulty 10. The site ranks around 33rd place. Home Depot sells kits in-store. The key criteria is not the aisle: it is the test duration and who performs the analysis.
Before buying the store kit
- How many days must the device remain in place?
- Is the analysis included in the listed price?
- Will the result be in Bq/m³, comparable to 200?
A short-term monitor of a few hours does not answer the same question as a 91-day dosimeter.
