Measurement and mitigation are not the same certification
A certification can cover measurement, mitigation, or both. Gaz Radon Québec displays two identifiers, valid until July 1st, 2028:
- CRMT-202512 for mitigation.
- CRT-202541 for measurement.
The certification does not replace the test result, nor the written price before the work.
What you can request
Before an installation, ask which identifier covers the work and what is included. The standard installation is $2,799.99 + taxes. The lowest price guarantee is 5% below a written competitor’s quote for a comparable installation. Requests can be made on the mitigation page, or by calling 418-681-7964.
